USP797 Clean Room Projects (LA County ISD)
Viniegra & Viniegra Architecture provided architectural and engineering services for the adaptation of new USP797 pharmaceutical requirements within the existing in-patient pharmacies of County hospitals.
The program required an ISO Class 5 clean room surrounded by a positive pressure buffer room of ISO Class 7. Careful design solutions were implemented in order to minimize impact to the existing facility while ensuring the most sophisticated controlled environment for the safe compounding procedure.
